昨日は日本のシェリーの消費者団体シェリー・ソサエティ―・ジャパンの代表の西村さんをデルガド・スレタにお連れしました。
西村さんはかれこれ30年近くほぼ毎日こちらのフラッグシップ・シェリーであるラ・ゴヤを召し上がっています。
大好きなラ・ゴヤが熟成されているボデガで、同社の社長ホルヘ・パスクアル氏にご案内とテイスティングをしていただきました。
感激のあまり涙ぐむ西村さんを見て、私も胸にグッとくるものがありました。
今年はデルガド・スレタの創立275周年記念の年です。300年記念の時にまたご夫婦そろってボデガにいらっしゃることを誓っておられました。私もその時にぜひご一緒させていただきたいです。
It was emotional visit at Delgado Zuleta with Ms. Kumiko Nishimura, the President of Sherry Society Japan.
Sherry Society Japan is an organization of sherry consumers. They have 300 members in entire Japan.
She loves La Goya, the flagship manzanilla of the bodega. She enjoys it almost everyday in this 30 years.
Mr. Jorge Pascual the President of Delgado Zuleta taught the bodega and tasting for us. It was honor to learn about the bodega and their fantastic wines. (Of course La Goya)
She was moved to meet Mr. Jorge face to face. When I saw her watering eyes, I was also moved the passion, the love for sherry.
2019 is the 275th anniversary of the bodega. Ms. and Mr. Nishimura committed to return to the bodega for celebrate their 300th anniversary.
I would love to company with them.
ホルヘさんのご厚意で、西村さんはラ・ゴヤの樽にサインをしました。
ラ・ゴヤのブランド100周年を記念してボトリングされた、センテナリオ・ラ・ゴヤを持つ西村さんとホルヘ社長。
ホルヘ社長は以前シェリー原産地統制員会の会長もされていた方で、シェリーへの知識はもちろんのこと、品質管理のプロ中のプロでもあります。ホルヘ社長のお話は本当にためになるものばかりでした。
